Event sourcing is a powerful pattern for robust and scalable applications, but it has its own pitfalls. This session covers the main patterns and anti-patterns of event-driven microservices. It then explores choreographed and orchestrated sagas for data consistency. Along the way, it covers the building blocks: timers, retries, pause strategies, back-off, and circuit breakers.
